Subsidiary of Saudi White Cement Co

Riyadh Cement Company (RCC), a subsidiary of Saudi White Cement Co wasestablished in 2005 and is headed by H.R.H. Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Majeed BinAbdul Aziz Al-Saud (Chairman of The Board).

The company commissioned its first line to production in De 13,2007 with a nominal capacity of 5,000 tons of clinker per day. Due to fastgrowing demand in the domestic and neighboring market, the board decided to putup a second-line with the same capacity. This came onto stream in July 11,2010. The Company Engineering Department employing its in-house skill has beenable to increase the production capacity of the plants from 5,000 tpd to 5,500tpd. The two plants can, now, produce 11,000 tons of clinker per day.

Oct 10 2008 CHINA'S SINOMA WINS SAUDI CEMENT PLANT CONTRACT: Riyadh Cement Co said on Tuesday it had awarded a contract to China's Sinoma International Engineering Co (600970.SS) to double its cement production capacity by the end of 2009. Sinoma, which has already built the Saudi firm's existing production line, will add a second line to double Riyadh Cement's annual cement production capacity to 4 million tonnes, the Saudi firm said in an emailed statement.
